Fashion Nights Out

Fashion weeks are really close and when I say close I mean tomorrow. So craziness is just around the corner. Shows, presentations, events and parties. The first one will be in New York starting tomorrow, then will follow London, Milan and Paris as the last one. On September 8th, coinciding with Fashion Week, New York celebrates it Fashion Night´s Out, an evening of events and sales in stores open after-hours to the public throughout the City. The goal is to celebrate fashion and shopping, restore consumer confidence, and boost the industry’s economy. This year to promote the event, the Glee crew made a music video with David Bowie´s great song "Fashion". On the video you can see the actors wearing Balmain, Marc Jacobs, Dries Van Notten, Prada... just to mention a few. The irony of the video is that TV Series is for teenagers, and everyone knows this is a great market. But who can buy a dress for $1.600 if you are going to high school and your parents just give you $20 for your meal? Can you imagine the Glee kids shopping at Louis Vuitton?! Maybe would have been better if Serena Van Der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf had starred in the promo video. Fashion Nights Out will take place in Beijing, Berlin, Brazil, L.A., Paris, Mexico City, Madrid, Milan, London... Anyway, here is the video so hope you like it.
