Chanel | Paris Bombay

For this pre-fall/winter 2012 line, Karl Lagerfeld invites us on a trip from France to India with Chanel. Paris-Bombay is the name of a collection inspired by India while retaining the French brand's quintessential look. Accompanied by fruit, candelabras, long candles, flowers, silver cutlery and white table linen, models like Lindsay Wixson and Saskia de Brauw strolled down Paris's Grand Palais catwalk for an audience that included actresses Freida Pinto and Ashley Bargès-Frisbey.

Matthew Frost New Short Video

Here is the last short video from photographer Matthew Frost featuring model Anna de Rijk. The poster has been made by illustrator Lizzie Nanut. Hope you like it as much as I do!!!

Fever Ray | No Face

A new track titled No Face by Karin Dreijer Andersson, which you know from The Knife and Fever Ray, is featured on the We Are The Works In Progress compilation. The song was initially written for the Ingmar Bergman play The Wolf Hour, of which the soundtrack was entirely written by Karin - hope we get to hear that soundtrack one day.

With just a minimum of instruments and a focus on the opera-like vocals, No Face reminds me of the music of Klaus Nomi and Tomorrow, In A Year, the opera The Knife wrote music for last year, along with Planningtorock and Mt. Sims.

We Are The Works In Progress is a 14-song benefit album to support Japan and it’s ongoing efforts to heal post-tsunami and was compiled and organized by Blonde Redhead.

Kiki De Montparnasse | Julia Restoin-Roitfeld

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld is famous for being the daughter of the former editor of Vogue Paris, but she's actually a shrewd business woman in her own right. Julia has just designed her first lingerie collection in collaboration with Kiki de Montparnasse. The capsule line is very sensual, with silky styles and lace creating a sexy, voluptuous look. The designer herself posed as model for the lookbook, which features vintage-style black and white photos. This woman exudes both talent and beauty in equal measures.

VB | Step For 2

It’s not easy to follow up winning the award for 2011 Designer Brand from the British Fashion Council, but wonderwoman Victoria Beckham has already done so with her denim line’s new video, entitled “Step for 2“. Released just a few days after the illustrious awards show, the video launches Victoria’s Spring/Summer 2012 Denim collection in a kaleidoscopic mix of vintage cinema illustrations, slick hot-foot moves, and an upbeat beatnik cool.
And no wonder. “Step for 2″ brings together some of the best minds in art and fashion today. In addition to being an exclusive collaboration with AnOther Magazine, spearheaded by fashion editor Agata Belcen, the team includes director Quentin Jones, set designer Robert Storey, musical scorer Peter Duffy, and models Bo Don and Amy Greenhough, sporting the line’s array of bright skinnies, denim cut-offs, and bright, vibrant prints.
