Givenchy Men’s T-shirt Special Edition

Since becoming menswear creative director of Givenchy with the Spring/Summer 2009 collection, Riccardo Tisci has expressed itself through urban masculinity and sensual elegance. He has been exploring shapes, tailoring and details in an unconventional way.

T-shirts have been a constant fixture in all collections, reworking that icon of the men’s wardrobe and modern street culture every season since.

Today, a special edition of 3 t-shirts captures the mood and inspiration of the Fall/Winter season:

1. Stars & stripes: a re-interpreted version of the American flag painted vertically in red and white in triple print layer technique with inserted Rottweiler dog face.

2. Scarf Print : twisting the classic square ‘silk scarf’ print reworked in a gothic style using elements of chains, white stars, bones and growling dogs printed in a multi-layer screen print

3. Rottweiler’s photographic face: featuring the main print of the Fall/Winter season, the face of a Rottweiler in a photographic technique.

Available in Givenchy stores from September 2011.
