Christmas has arrived for Lady Gaga. The singer unveiled her Santa’s Workshop shopping emporium at Barneys New York last night. Gaga’s Workshop comes to life with bright installations such as a jewellery shop created out of an oversized Lady Gaga-turned-spider, and a boudoir in the shape of a giant wig – dispensing Gaga’s famous bow headbands fashioned from hair.

Loulou De La Falaise (1947-2011)
Although already pass two week, I did not want to stop
posting about the death of LouLou de la Falaise (Louise Vava Lucia
Henriette Le Bailly de la Falaise), designer and muse of designer Yves
Saint Laurent, after a painful illness. De la Falaise, became an icon of
style, not only to accompany Saint Laurent for over twenty years, and
will be the inspiration for the Smoking and sheer blouses that defined
the designer, but because she was dedicated to her own jewelry line. She
worked for Harpers Bazaar and collaborated with the Oscar de la Renta's jewelry line. Rest in peace.

Caution, Girl Panic! Is Here
We love the '90 tops. Last time we saw them together was in 1990 in George Michael´s video "Freedom" which still being an inspiration on the fashion business. In this case they are reuniting for Duran Duran's new video directed by Jonas Akerlund "Girl Panic!". Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Eva Herzigova, Cindy Crawford and Yasmin are gorgeous! 90´s are back! Both videos are great and will be iconic "art pieces" in pop culture. Enjoy it!

The Florence Welch's Year
Florence Welch by Karl Lagerfeld Vogue Japan October 2011.
We met Florence Welch (Florence + the Machine) in 2009 with her debut album "Lungs". The #1 position in the music charts, awards, recognition and the uprising of a new fashion icon.
Her eccentric style and her mysterious pose has influence on the fashion creators.
She was the guest start in the Chanel's sping/summer 2012 fashion show (click if you want to see the show) and Frida Giannini designed the american tour's wardrobe.
The last October 31th was launched "Ceremonials". Now she's on covers of the most important magazine: Dazed&Confused, Interview, Vogue... Yes! This is her year.

Alexander McQueen AW 2011 Scarves Film
Alexander
McQueen presents a short film created by Paris-based
director/photographer Babette Pauthier, featuring our Autumn/Winter 2011
seasonal scarf collection. If
you look closely, you'll see that the floating scarves have details
inspired by Sarah Burton’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection: broken
porcelain, armour, feathers and tweed.
And, of course, you'll spot iconic Alexander McQueen skulls- how very
fitting with Halloween just around the corner…

Cédric Rivrain - Selected Drawings | Books Part III
Self-taught draftsman Cédric Rivrain presents a distorted, figurative work, filled with an aesthetic and sensual charge.
His book offers a selection of 28 drawings inspired by three distinct
universes – fashion, the study of the human body, and medical dressings –
which the artist brings together through a single motif: beauty.
This collection of original works has been reproduced on a 1:1 scale.
This graphical parti pris allows the reader to enter into the frame of
the drawing and to discover a work of surgical precision mixed with the
use of original materials, such as eye shadow, nail polish. The
chromatic range from pale yellow to dusty pink, passing by steel blue,
aligns with the fineness of the lines, whose fragility enclose hidden
treasures.
The foreword is signed by artist Paul P., a friend of the author, and it
lends, from the first page of the book, a character of profound
sincerity.
